This is the Black Publishers & Writers Awards' inaugural year
and is open to all African American writers. We have categories for
traditional
published,
independent/self published
and
unpublished works.
Guidelines:
Books must be published
between January 1, 2007, and December 31, 2008. New editions of
previously issued books are eligible.
Full-length books of fiction and general nonfiction are
eligible.

The
Black Publishers & Writers Book Expo
is a free public book expo. It's purpose is to enlighten and
encourage our youths to read and write as well as to support African
American publishers and writers.
This years
book expo will feature a kids corner, speakers and live
entertainment. |
Interested in Exhibiting?
Exhibiting is open to publishers, authors, anyone who
showcase books in any format, anyone who sell or make
gifts and other non-book products carried in bookstores
and other retail outlets.
